If you – or someone you love – struggles with food, weight, calorie restriction, overeating, undereating, binge eating, or a combination of these, I want to invite you to a very special free event. Click here to attend, Recovery Revealed: What’s Feeding Your Disordered Eating.

The host, my friend Mindy Gorman-Plutzer has put together an amazing event. Day one is a powerful look at Approaching Disordered Eating with Functional Medicine.

There is a secret that most people just don’t know – that there is a huge biological component to eating disorders. It is NOT the person’s fault – or something they can just “stop”…

Disordered eating is not a choice – but recovery is, and this event is a powerful starting point.

I want all of us to break free from the anxiety and negative self-talk.

This event is a powerful space to explore a life without the VERY temporary (and ultimately destructive) use of food or restrictive eating to avoid pain. Please click to attend: Recovery Revealed: What’s Feeding Your Disordered Eating?

You may not have an eating disorder or a dysfunctional relationship with food and your body – but over 30 million people struggle with some version of disordered eating, in the US alone. And it is NOT their fault.

Restrictive eating and binge eating set you up for a host of nutritional deficiencies that not only hurt your gut and brain but also lead to cravings and binging, setting the stage for a vicious cycle of behaviors and feelings. This event is a new beginning for those who have suffered in silence, sometimes for decades.

Who is Mindy?

Mindy Gorman-Plutzer brings 25 years of nutritional counseling experience as a Board Certified Integrative Health Coach, Certified Eating Psychology Coach and Certified Functional Nutrition and Lifestyle Practitioner. She specializes in issues relating to her client’s relationship with food, emotional and compulsive eating, chronic dieting, binge eating disorder and digestive health. With additional training in functional medicine nutrition and transformational coaching, she subtly introduces clients to how physiology meets psychology. Her philosophy is to empathetically empower her clients to make nourishing lifestyle and nutritional choices as they learn to connect to the healthy wisdom of their bodies.

Mindy received Board Certification in Holistic Health Coaching from AADP, the American Association of Drugless Practitioners after completing the certification program at The Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Two years later she was certified as an Eating Psychology Coach from the Institute for The Psychology of Eating. That wasn’t enough as her desire is to know the whole story behind her clients’ weight management and food relationship issues so she went further to study with Andrea Nakahama at the Functional Nutrition Alliance where she studied Digestive Health and Functional Nutrition. This event is led by a giant, freely offered to inspire others and change lives.
